Mede Sprint Bus

The Mede Sprint is a community bus service available to anyone who lives or works in Knowle West. The bus can take you anywhere you want in Knowle West, including the Health Park. The service is available to individuals or groups and can take up to 16 people maximum in one trip, between the hours of 8.45am and 5.00pm. The vehicles can carry wheelchairs and are equipped with child and baby seats. Membership is free and a single journey costs £1.00. Tickets can be purchased from the Mede Community Centre, William Budd Health Centre, Knowle West Health Park Walk-in Café and Knowle West Health Association at Filwood Broadway. Public transport

Unfortunately there is no direct bus to the Health Park although the company will be lobbying for a change of route in the coming year. The numbers 36, 89 & 90 buses pass along the top of Downton Road stopping at Leinster Avenue just after the police station (by the shops). It is about a 5-10minute walk from there down to the Health Park.

Parking

The Health Park has plenty of parking available to visitors, including disabled parking spaces for those visitors with a blue badge. Please respect the priority needs of disabled people to ensure they can park next to the buildings. To promote security, please remove valuables or personal belongings from view and ensure your car is locked. Cars are parked at the owners discretion and the services on the Health Park cannot be responsible for any loss or damage to cars parked on site.
