The Health Park Company offers a range of rooms for hire at reasonable rates, suitable for running meetings, training courses, exercise and activities sessions or for complimentary therapy/counselling type work. Charges for room hire are designed to make health related services for local people the top priority, hence we charge less for these than for staff training or meetings. Charges also vary depending on the time of the event, evening sessions cost less than daytime sessions.

• Counselling rooms/’pods’ – suitable for one to one meetings, interviews or counselling, maximum room for 3 people
• Therapy room – with couch and bench for massage or complimentary therapies, maximum room for 6 people
• Studio – with sprung wooden floor for exercise sessions, dance and other activities, seats up to 40 people
• Meeting room – with table and chairs for meetings or group work, arts activities or discussion groups, seats up to 25 people.
• Café – seats up to 80 people for social events, large meetings or presentations, only available outside café opening hours (usually from 4pm onwards)

Counselling rooms

• Daytime rate: £3.25-£6.25 per hour depending on usage
• Off peak (after 5pm): £2.25-£4.25 per hour depending on usage

The two counselling rooms (or ‘ pods’ ) can be used for 1:1 advice sessions, or counselling/psychotherapy for individuals or couples. They are carpeted, quiet and self-contained with natural light coming in through an overhead skylight.

Therapy room

• Daytime rate: £5.25-£6.25 per hour depending on usage
• Off peak (after 5pm) any group/organisation: £4.25-£5.25 per hour depending on usage

The therapy room is designed specifically for individual bodywork therapists. It contains a massage couch and chair, and the pale blue walls are conducive to rest and relaxation.

Studio

• Daytime rate: £10.25-£16.50 per hour depending on usage
• Off peak (after 5pm) any group/organisation: £5.25-£8.25 per hour depending on usage

The Studio has a sprung wooden floor ideal for exercise sessions, dance and other activities and seats up to 40 people. It is very light and spacious, with views over the Health Park grounds. It also has convenient access to the Activity Room for larger meetings or split activities.

Activity room

• Daytime rate: £8.25-£14.50 per hour depending on usage
• Off peak (after 5pm) any group/organisation: £4.25-£7.25 per hour depending on usage

Contains table and chairs for meetings or group work, arts activities or discussion groups. It is carpeted and seats up to 25 people. This room overlooks the colourful children’ s courtyard on one side and has views of the Health Park grounds on the other. It also has convenient access to the Studio for larger meetings or split activities.

Créche

• Daytime rate: £6.25-£12.25 per hour depending on usage
• Off peak (after 5pm) any group/organisation: £3.25-£6.25 per hour depending on usage

Café

• Off peak (from 3pm) any group/organisation: £10.50-£18.50 per hour depending on usage

Seats up to 80 people and is suitable for social events, large meetings or presentations and is available outside café opening hours (from 4pm onwards). The café is very large, light and spacious and contains both comfy sofas as well as tables and chairs. It is also used as an exhibition venue for local artists and community groups.
