Local Alcohol Support Service

The local alcohol support service is a partnership between ARA (Addiction Recovery Agency) and BSDAS (Bristol Specialist Drug & Alcohol Service) working at the Knowle West Health Park. The support service is for people who misuse alcohol or whose life is affected by someone else’s alcohol misuse. The service is offered at the Health Park, and you can be referred by your GP.
The service provides an opportunity to talk privately to a specialist alcohol worker about the effect that alcohol is having on your life or health and the impact it may have on others. It also provides an opportunity to look at making changes to alcohol use, and to give advice, information and support about making those changes.
