The Board of Directors continually needs local people to become involved. Training and support will be offered, the time commitment will be a minimum of 3 hours per month, usually early evenings. The Board may from time to time need to recruit individuals with certain expertise, at other times we may need only general local knowledge. • Walk Leaders and Walk Helpers

We are always looking for friendly folk to help lead and assist our walks, which usually take place locally and regularly. If you are interested but haven’t been on one of our walks before, come along and see for yourself what’s involved. You can use the contact details above, or look for ‘One, Two and Three Heart Walks’ on our Services pages for more info.

  • Healthy Lifestyle Volunteers

This role involves assisting on our group trips out and activities, which are varied and all based around finding ways to life a healthy life, re-setting old habits into new ones and learning how to care for ourselves. It’s always good to have people on hand when moving as a group, and you’ll receive the appropriate training on how to assist and will be supervised by the service lead, so don’t be shy if you’ve not done this kind of thing before. You can find more information on our Healthy Living group in the ‘Services’ pages of this site, or use the contact details above. If you’ve not been to a group before, feel free to come along and see what the other volunteers get up to.
